I thought Brite was a different corporation than TCU from the get go. separate board although TCU Chancellor is 1 of several members Of the Brite board. Has to do with the Church having a whole lot more control over Brite than over corporate TCU.

If this were true, the military academies would be the highest ranked. Students are paid to go there. Tuition + room & board, no problem. And UTD would be the finest college in Texas. Never mind the commuter school, cheap strip mall environment.

I don’t know but I’ve heard that USNWR seriously de-emphasized student/faculty ratios and emphasized numbers of first generation students, and changed other criteria to improve rankings of state supported colleges.
