Should be a decent game into the 3rd quarter when TCUs ground game completely takes over.
SMU’s defensive front is < 280 lbs, throw in Wiley & it’s under 270. 300+ rushing is almost a given.
Any time SMU is under pressure the result is errors, penalties, and turnovers. Mordecai will be good for at least 2 T/Os.
Frogs 48-27.

While everything you say is true, I'd still take Dallas over San Antonio, Waco, Lubbock (basically all those West Texas hellholes), and most of Houston.
Yep. Lived in both Dallas and Waco and while the Ridgewood area back by Lake Waco was a nice place to be a young kid, I’d choose White Rock Lake 10 times out of 10.

Don’t use big words that you don’t understand.

A guy comes home from work to find his girlfriend huffing an puffing on the couch. He says, "what's the matter." She says that she has been watching talk shows all day and realized that he's a pedophile. He then responds, "that's an awfully big word for an 8-year old."

Sonny Dykes' treacherous departure has ignited quite some passion (relatively speaking) amongst the Pony Nation.

Whiniest fan base since Baylor -- and that's really saying something.

Ticket prices are now coming down. Anyone that doesn't have one isn't going to pay those prices to sit in 98 degree heat in the middle of the day.

Sounds like we think we're Wisconsin and SMU is us in the Rose Bowl... They're going to show up ready to play.

You give SMU wayyyy too much credit.
They are exciting because they throw it all over the place, but they are not a good team.
Right now, SMU would be ranked in the bottom 1/2 out of 131 FBS teams.
Our OL out weighs their D front by over 50 lbs/man. We should rack up 300+ rush yards against that front.
The SMU run game is not good. Their OL is below average, so almost every attempt is a sweep or counter.
Their passing game is one dimensional. One guy has 37% of the catches & 47% of the yards.
Their QB is shaky. Anytime he gets put under pressure, it results in mistakes, penalties, & T/Os.
They’ve turned the ball over 8 times in only three games against mediocre to low level competition.

TCU is 6-2 against SMU since joining the B12. The only 2 losses were close and in the worst years of GP’s tenure, as the wheels were coming off. TCU’s average margin of victory is 30 points.

If we can’t beat SMU solidly, it’s gonna be a tough year.

Dallas is great for restaurants and the arts but the place is run by lunatics and the traffic sucks; not so much the traffic jams but the fact that people over there drive like they have a death wish
