The subs were the absolute key. Cannon, Zardes, Giaochini, Roldan, Williamson…. gave us a ton of energy and Qatar couldn’t match it.

One other observation…. With the new qualifying set up where we’ll be playing 3 games in a short time during each window you have to feel really good about our depth right now. Our B team is as good or better than every A team outside of Mexico IMO.

Very depleted Canada side is playing Mexico very tough. And as I type this Canada has scored to tie it 1-1 in the second half.

Throw in the missing stars David and Davies (as well as a couple others) and Canada very much appear to be a top 3 team in the region.
