I feel like I've seen something like that from TCU previously. It seems like the generic statement with regards to a conference ceasing or changing. Ever since the demise of the SWC TCU seems to be projecting upwards.
There is way too much smoke and projections regarding the Pac with TCU. There were some comments years ago about TCU possibly joining even when the Big 12 was in a somewhat healthy position. The addition of a med school a few years ago only seemed to increase some of the chatter.

PAC 12 needs to be proactive against the Big Ten. I would hope that move would include TCU and Tech (lots of good family members and friends from there).
