Houston Chronicle: Texas, Oklahoma reach out to SEC about joining conference

I can see why Nebraska MIssouri ATM and Colorado wanted to get away from Texas so badly.
It's strange that here we are hoping for Aggy to monkeywrench the UTexas trip into the SEC. The Aggies would again be our hero (our B12 admission was due to those boys.)

If the SEC denies them, they go indy and OU is back in the TWELVE (dreaming.) Just hoping that the 12 sticks together for this iteration with some backfill. Rebuilding would be minimal.

We need to for once and for all get away from that CANCER UT. Let them go Indy. Goodbye forever.

Or a TT, OSU, TCU and Baylor/K-St/KU four get into the PAC - new name "Pac-West".
If the Pac12 wants to be "in" the Central Time Zone - they'll need four new teams. Getting TT w/o another TX School does not "get" the PAC enough coverage in the state of Texas. So a TT + OSU Pac 14 doesn't work, IMO. They need TCU or Baylor. We have to make sure that it is us.

Don't think you realize ... TCU is the most attractive of all the schools you've mentioned ... not TT in any way shape form or fashion!

It’s real hard to poke a hole in any of that. It’s the height of irony that a network that started making sports so much more enjoyable to watch a few decades ago is now the biggest driving force behind ruining them.

The SEC and ESPN are basically taking the NCAA’ s former position. Isn’t it awesome to finally have those idiots at their NCAA out of the way?

That’s actually the only thing that could probably stop the SEC from adding Texas and OU. Alabama runs the conference with an iron fist. The Horns will soon realize this.
No ... If aggie really has that agreement with SC / Florida / GA or whom ever(KY)not to vote for an additional(2nd) school into their respective states... then A&M has the power to stop it if all, 3-4 others, hang in there ... plus takes 11 SEC votes to approve.

I would really love for this to happen.
Then Texas and OU are left floundering like a fish out of water.
