Are there rules? Guidelines? Or is it just a free-for-all?

As I understand it the school can’t be involved, players can’t wear school uniforms to promote themselves, they can hire agents to represent outside interests. Very much like the olympics athletes.

And technically “boosters” were not supposed to be involved either….but evidently even our Governor realized that one wasnt going to work

and payment can’t be performance based either

but you are correct that the school can’t orchestrate a deal for a player or a group of players

otherwise you would end up with somebody getting the entire “team” a deal like the Indians Amex deal in Major League

It's spelled 'actually' in the dictionary. You don't have to be as incorrect as the vote counters in about six States...

TCU sent out an email a few hours ago with "guidance" on what is permissible, and what isn't. What they outlined looks ripe for abuse.

It'll be the death of College Football.
