Started this because I was doing some quick McNeese St research...and wondering if we would hold back a starter Game 1.

Well McNeese almost certainly will start Will Dion, a 5-10 lefty (of coarse) who is the SLC pitcher of the year. He's coming off two great starts in their tournament including a 1 hit shutout. Offensively they only have 2 guys hitting over .300.

Kinda hoping since Savage only pitched an inning or so he could go Friday nite and give us 5ish...

I can’t recall the last time Ray was hungry enough to eat a single inning.

It would be nice to try and get him at least semi-right before supers and hopefully Omaha...but just can't imagine a scenario where we would trust him.

Ans if you're up or down 8 late...I'd rather give those innings to young arms.

Just think Ray is who he is now...

He pitched a masterful game at the "end" of last year against Minnesota. Complete game, two hit two walk shutout.

He looked like he would be the answer for this team...
