Thank You TCU Students and Fans

Many TCU students in the TCU student section Friday night were an embarrassment. They were throwing beers and other items and constantly shouting obscenities. They all should have been escorted out of the stadium. Any alum would have been embarrassed for the school by their actions. They were small in numbers, so hopefully not representative of the typical TCU student these days.
ugh. Kick 'em out or alumns speak to them. I have done this.

It has been a very long year, but thank you to all of our students and fans! Your patience and continued support throughout this difficult season is appreciated.

The atmosphere and energy at the baseball game tonight vs Texas was awesome! Sea of Purple! Let’s do it again on Sat and Sun.

See you at Lupton Stadium

Go Frogs!
what was so f’ing difficult about it that wasn’t self administered?

While I don't necessarily fully disagree, this reads as someone who has never attended a college sporting event at any other venue before.

I disagree.

We are not Texass Tech.

Horrid fan base located on the Devil's Buttocks.

Nor are we SMU (assuming the Mustangs had not dropped baseball and replaced it with men's synchronized swimming). Most quiet fans in Texas because the champagne fountain in their Boulevard Tailgate tent was just refilled by their butler and who goes to those things anyway?

That's kind of my point. If you've been to other venues then anything you see at a TCU game will look tame compared to a place like Lubbock.

Was I supposed to type something here?

Thank you for your work, and dedication. None of us sees, or deals with, the kind of nonsense you folks have to deal with on a regular basis. You only hear about it when something goes wrong, never when things go right.

So, let me take this opportunity to say, good job! 30-odd years of having various TCU season tickets, and other assorted post-game tickets, and never had a hiccup.

I actually agree with the sentiment. It is true that this happens at almost every college sporting event with passionate fans, though. Still makes me sad to see our students throwing beers at opposing fans. There is no place for that. Booing and trash talking by 18-22 year olds is fine, but that crossed the line in my opinion.

Remember that the preponderance of posters on Kf.C wanted beer at sporting events...jus' sayin'.....
