It has been a very long year, but thank you to all of our students and fans! Your patience and continued support throughout this difficult season is appreciated.

The atmosphere and energy at the baseball game tonight vs Texas was awesome! Sea of Purple! Let’s do it again on Sat and Sun.

See you at Lupton Stadium

Go Frogs!

Many TCU students in the TCU student section Friday night were an embarrassment. They were throwing beers and other items and constantly shouting obscenities. They all should have been escorted out of the stadium. Any alum would have been embarrassed for the school by their actions. They were small in numbers, so hopefully not representative of the typical TCU student these days.

While I don't necessarily fully disagree, this reads as someone who has never attended a college sporting event at any other venue before.

It was wild and loud for the whole game. There were a couple of blowhards trying to instigate with anyone wearing orange. But it was a few instances and didn't over shadow the overall dominating noise and excitement generated by the large student population in attendence

Which was it? Many or a small number?

Had to watch the game on TV on mute. The annoyance of a couple guys yelling constantly and the incessant blather from the announcers who kept bragging that they weren't even there....I don't know where they get the energy!

I actually agree with the sentiment. It is true that this happens at almost every college sporting event with passionate fans, though. Still makes me sad to see our students throwing beers at opposing fans. There is no place for that. Booing and trash talking by 18-22 year olds is fine, but that crossed the line in my opinion.

Not to mention a waste of perfectly good beer.

I have a hard time believing they were throwing beers. Maybe one was thrown but every stadium has zero tolerance for throwing things.

The only annoying thing I heard last night on the tv broadcast was the constant ut fan or coach giving a running commentary on get the barrel on the ball or telling the ump the balls strikes were wrong. Very annoying all game long.

There was a scuffle evidently with a UT fan and some beer was thrown when he was being escorted out

was it stupid - yes

was he sitting in the student section just to cause problem- yes
