Oregon, really? Hardly a blue blood. New money that was nothing before 2000.
So, these schools were apparently chosen by a very casual fan from 1978, who’s kid suggested Oregon.

Would def put FSU or Miami in over Nebraska.
This would suck for obvious reasons. However I assume TCU would be lumped in with a "Best of the Rest" league with the other 40 or so P5 programs that get left out. Probably wouldn't get the money we do now, but would still get 80% of our current schedule minus UT and OU.
Also would probably be more compelling to watch as well. They could let Bama, Clemson, Ohio state +1 rando do their 4 team "playoff" invitational every year in the super league. The rest of the schools could do an actual 16 team playoff with home games, which would be more fun to watch with different matchups and actual chance at upsets.

I would like to see this happen. Get the big money bases out of college football and let the rest of us go back to the sport we enjoy supporting. I don't care as much about if TCU get s huge payouts or not, so long as it is a more even playing field across the board. If everyone is paid well great, if everyone has less then as long as it is closer to even, I am good.
