GoFrogs: TCU Completes Perfect Home Season

FORT WORTH -- No. 7 TCU beach volleyball (21-4) completed a perfect home season, claiming victories over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Tulane, Boise State and Houston Baptist over the weekend at the TCU Sand Volleyball Courts.

The top three pairings (Daniela Alvarez/Tania Moreno Mateeva, Hailey Brockett/Olivia Blackburn and Rochelle Scott/Maria Gonzalez) each were a perfect 4-0 for the weekend as TCU finishes the 2021 season 12-0 at home, the first perfect home record in program history.

The Horned Frogs have won 21 matches now this season, the most in program history. TCU has set program records this season in total wins (21), wins over ranked opponents (nine), home wins (12) and total 5-0 sweeps (eight). If they do well for the rest of the month, I am hoping they make the NCAA championships in May. I might have a chance to go if they do.
