Sport no, but competition absolutely and if you're intensely looking down at it, well, you're probably going to be disappointed in a lot of things over the next 30 years.
It’d be a bonus to be doing anything 30 years from now for some of us...
We could recruit Sheldon, Wolowitz, Leonard and Koothrappali. Penny would be their Show Girl.
Little known fact: Sheldon and Leonard are named after Sheldon Leonard, an old movie actor and producer the creators of the show admired.
I won't have to wait nearly 30 years to be disappointed in a lot of thingsSport no, but competition absolutely and if you're intensely looking down at it, well, you're probably going to be disappointed in a lot of things over the next 30 years.
I agree its a big deal and will continue to grow, but let's not refer to it as "sports."
I bet their football team sucks.Burleson ISD has a school dedicated to game coding and Esports.

I agree
Few sports involve a bag of Funyuns and RC Cola.
They only feature spectators from the lower west side. May need to upgrade the priority points.I could see you being the Golden Snitch or being a spectator that seems to always find his way on the Quidditch Jumbotron.

Penny was great at Halo.

I started playing Fortnite to connect with my kids that play it. I got fluent enough in it to play relatively well. I would watch YouTube videos with them of the World Cup or whatever it was called and it literally looked like those people were playing a different game. While it is certainly not a sport, it is incredible what some of these kids can do. Watch that documentary on the Rubik’s cube kids and tell me you’re not impressed...The hand eye coordination and reaction time these kids have is pretty spectacular. The difference between the pros and even the 1% is about as great as the difference between the NFL and college.
But I'd agree that it's probably as much of a sport as billiards or darts.
