OU won’t release transfer QB CHANDLER MORRIS to TCU

OU is being stubborn and intentionally hostile in the transfer process of CHANDLER MORRIS to TCU. He is still not released from OU and they are using every delay tactic possible in his transfer. Why are they doing this ? Read below:

1) OU believes that MORRIS is a very very competent QB and is B12 starter material.

2) If DUGGAN goes down with an injury, OU believes MORRIS can step right in and be just as good if not better than DUGGAN.

3) OU saw MORRIS’s passing skills for an entire year at OU and Sooner coaches believe he is a much better and more accurate passer than DUGGAN, which greatly worries OU because the Sooner passing defense (DBs) will be rebuilding in 2021 and will be weakest part of team.

4) OU Coaches did not want Morris to transfer and even though the coaches love RATTLER as starter, they think MORRIS would have been a really good solid #2.

5) OU Coaches want to delay MORRIS’s development by hopefully preventing him from playing in Spring Ball by not approving his transfer until after Spring Ball is over.

6) OU Coach Riley is using the lame excuse that TCU “tampered” with MORRIS as their justification why he isn’t released yet........and........Riley got Baker Mayfield (who hates TCU), to give lip service to the press about that accusation.

7) OU believes TCU would be in serious trouble at QB without MORRIS and OU Coaches were very upset when he picked TCU to transfer to. Sooners thought TCU was in deep problems at QB in event DUGGAN was injured. Very very upsetting to them that their own #2 went over to TCU which fixed Tcu’s QB depth situation.

8) OU Coaches believe TCU and LongHorns are going to be huge threats and likely opponent in B12 Title Game.

Will be interesting to see how long OU continues to drag their feet on Morris’s transfer.

Just sour grapes is all this is because they lost a guy they think is a great passer and they wanted as their #2. Pizzzzes them off he is now Frogs #2.

Musical Youth had a hit song about Passing that on the left side. Never understood the song or what it meant. Likely communist in origin.
Bruce Springsteen also had a song about being wrapped up like that thing. The song was popularized by Manfred Mann’s Earth Band.

Riley continues his domination of Tcu on and now off the field, what a thorn OU is
It may not be Riley’s call in the end if the NCAA doesn’t grant immediate eligibility.

Can’t imagine Riley being that concerned with TCU anyway. He’s clearly shown his program is on another level than the rest of this league.
