I would understand if they can’t really afford the buyout this year. But I rarely watch at this point and don’t see that changing next year with Jamie.

I agree he had bad facilities, but Conference USA was very strong when we were there. Regularly sent 4-6 teams to the NCAA tournament each year. But yes the MWC was bad until Lon Kruger and Steve Alford showed up at UNLV/New Mexico.

He was also a solid dude...really, really cared abt the players. He was incredibly respectful of the program.
