interesting, another 6' 190~ defensive back who has played a great deal of corner but looks to have the ability to move inside to nickle or safety

the consequence of such a delay is a player could be enrolled right now at their new school, going through conditioning, and getting ready for spring with a chance to learn a new system

catch is if the conference doesn't agree to waive the one year time period they have wasted the spring and for a player like storment basically ended their college career.

personally, i am not opposed to a 1-year requirement to sit for non grad transfers for all schools and no wait on grad transfers with no waivers but don't think the ncaa really cares about consistency or logic. look at the manner in which they have handled on and off campus recruiting this year.

Lets be honest though..The Portal has blown up because a one time transfer can have immediate eligibility. If the B12 decides they are going to be the one conference who decides to place restrictions around that decision, you are only hurting the league as a whole. B12 kids aren't going to sit out a year so they can play at another B12 school. They are going to have suitors from all over the country and will simply leave the conference. This decision by the B12 will place them on an island and cause a talent suck. The portal entries by B12 kids isn't going to stop just because of this rule.

agree completely which is why i made the comment about the conference waiting until after the start of the spring semester to make a decision.

you would think they would go ahead and allow the movement within the conference at least for this one year, but why wait to make that decision unless you are trying to deter players from making that move this year.

My college roommate was from Muenster. A big group of our friends went up for their annual German Fest every year we were in college. That town is just German as ship.

No we don’t know that as of yet but all indications are that most conferences will do away with any blockage restrictions

Its 25 first team all big 12 selections on defense since 2012(when we joined the big 12).

The reason I posted that in here is because Landyn Watson, our soon to be freshman DE, commented, "we not done either."

Only thing questionable is his listed height.
