We basically just saw the two best teams ever the past two years win with offense...not defense.

I hope GP is noticing that...you have to get TDs not FGs. You have to take chances around midfield and go for it. If Saban can do these things....GP should be able to as well.

Don't see this ever happening. GP always wants his defense to take center stage, and he has never been one to gamble or take chances. He is who he is at this point, and he's not changing for anyone unfortunately.

He committed to Texas today. Seemingly out of nowhere. Will be interesting to see if Ohio State is able to hold on to Ewers.

Correct.

If we went for it more often...we would score more points and more recruits would be attracted to our aggressive style.

The 2017 Iowa State game we punted on 4th and 5 or less at midfield at least 3 times while losing...and of coarse the stupid decision to punt at the end of the half at Baylor in 2014 where we had the bad snap with 8 seconds to go that allowed at FG.

GP needs to TOTALLY distance himself from the offense, its playcalling and time/game management. The way it appears Saban has at Bama.

big two for me are bethley and storment. others would be nice, but those two would provide stability in key positions
