Angela's payday is $262,500, which moves her from 32nd to 8th on the tour points list, and up to 5th on the U.S. Solheim Cup points list. Angela has been selected as an assistant captain for the 2021 event in Toledo; would be great for her to be a member of the team as well.

Hope she can carry the momentum over to next week's U.S. Women's Open at Champions Golf Club in Houston.

Highlights include a TCU mention and show that Angela subscribes to the Tyrell Hatton school of golf fashion: https://www.lpga.com/videos/2020/an...hts-at-the-2020-volunteers-of-america-classic

Nice article on Angela by LPGA beat writer Ron Sirak. He pointed out that her first LPGA win came the week before the 2003 U.S. Women's Open, when she lost an 18-hole playoff by a stroke.

What struck me from yesterday's highlights was her even-keel demeanor even as she kept pouring in birdies. Angela has always seemed pretty fiery and unafraid to show emotion on the course. She was either making an effort not to do that, or else her expectations of success have really gone up.

If the latter, watch out for Angela this coming week at U.S. Women's Open. The event being in Texas can't hurt, and with both courses at Champions GC being in play for rounds 1 & 2 because of reduced daylight, local knowledge will come into play more than at most tournaments.

I had a chance to meet Angela a couple of years ago at the annual TCU/FCA banquet. So impressed with her humility. She was so generous with her time as she stayed long after the banquet was finished to let everyone take pictures with her.

Plus, she has really handled the ups and downs of competing on the LPGA tour with class. To come back and win another tournament at age 43 is an impressive accomplishment.

Very proud of her accomplishments, her character, and her strong support of TCU and Fort Worth. She should make all Frog fans proud.
