How could Max NOT be injured with the serious amount of hard hits he's been taking this year. There is no way he is 100% healthy. That said, either scheme a proper plan to take this into consideration or put someone else in who is 100%. The excuses are stupid and ridiculous.

curious if max is starting to see ghosts

Did anyone else notice near the first of the game when Duggan took a hit and came up rotating his shoulder? I saw that and thought perhaps he is hurting. Plus, it wouldn't be wise for Paterson to broadcast Duggan's injury. He may end up being the target for just that.

People saying Max is no qb are the same people who said Boykin was no QB in 2013 - literally not a QB, as in move him to WR or RB. Max gets practically zero protection. We have got to establish a consistent running game. Defenses are selling out on pass rush/ blitz/ stopping the pass.

I think one of the big issues is our style of running game never requires defenses to ever commit to stopping it. Our base offense has been figured out by DCs. Running the ball is just a diversion in this offense, there's never any real commitment to it.

There's a major difference between running the ball three times in a row and having an offense based on the running game. We do some of the former (with little effectiveness) and have almost zero of the latter.
