But then blown off our own field by OU

It seems like every time we lose early the rest of the year is doomed. Arkansas, Ohio State, Iowa State.

That's one. Next up is Tech. Time to start a new winning streak at the Carter and have back-to-back wins. The whole team'd better be watching the Oklahoma/Tech game right now.

This is the swing game. It was the question mark in my original post. We seem to trade wins with Western even when our teams seem to be better. If it holds true to form, we should win this game on the road. That would be huge. First, it would jump us over them in conference and right behind Austin for the top half of the conference. Then we head into a bye week before going to Kansas. Austin still has to play ISU and KSU, and should lose one of those games. That would put us above them in conference. Well, at least for a week, because Okie Lite comes to town the week after Kansas. But who knows, win Saturday, get the bye, beat Kansas, and we may be in a groove three weeks from now when the Cowboys come to town.

Just took a look at the standings, and that KSU game is the one that is really biting us in the buttocks. If we'd won that game we would be sitting in third place right now, considering we beat Austin and Okie Lite. Instead we're in fifth...the bottom of the top half. How the hell did we lose that game to KSU?!?

Fools gold if anyone actually believes this team can in any way shape or form salvage this season. This team and it’s coaching staff are a hot mess. The Frogs will lose to Baylor and Tech. The only manageable game left that offers any hope for victory is Kansas. This team and it’s coaching staff have given the fan base zero reason to believe in them. The past two seasons should have been a wake up call that the wheels have shot off the program and Frogs heading toward an extended stay in Big 12 cellar. Only those with blind faith and the most purple shaded glasses can have any faith in this team or it’s coaching staff. Such a dumpster fire the floor is 1-8 and ceiling 2-7.

That seems to be the most likely culprit. Clearly they were also more growed up than us at the time too.
