You just don't fire CGP ... worse case scenario, you give him options. If he refuses to replace the Anderson types(Burns/etc.) then you retire him into the system... if he would still be interested in doing that.

Sure CGP doesn't want to go out like Bobby Bowden did. If GP chooses/agrees to make better/smarter Choices for himself/team and the school, then you give him another year... to prove his sincerity.

He should understand he is not the owner and is paid extremely well to make excellent staff choices. Anderson is not an excellent Staff Choice. Some Successful youthful choices are in order.
