I always recall the John Waite lyric (from the song, New York City Girl), “Dylan Thomas rides a white horse drunk” referencing Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, who died after drinking too much in a famous NYC pub, the White Horse Tavern.

the White Horse Tavern is in Newport RI - my friends own it

apparently in this current version of the meacham offense if you are taller than 5'10" and / or weigh more than 170 lbs you are going to either run go routes or block down field and some might want to do a bit more in their time on the field.

Pretty sure this isn’t the Meacham offense, it’s the Jerry Kill / try to save our defense offense.

Yes he is good, but just has had the misfortune of injuries during his stay at TCU. We are loaded with receiver talent, hard to get minutes and then you have to have the pass come to you and catchable. We should be moving the ball up and down the field, especially when you add in our stable of RBs.

This team hasn’t been able to consistently throw the ball down the field in 5 years. WR.......... QB.......... ???? Coaching???

your not going to win games and have a championship team with dink and dunk passing schemes.
Run the ball with power and throw the ball over their heads when they creep up to defend the running game. It’s not that hard.

so not surprised kids want to leave.

"Run the ball with power......" There's the rub, we won't commit to that, even though we can run the ball much better than we can pass block. Our offense continues to be a mystery. Kill, IMO, has not solved anything as the Patron of the offense.
