curious, how many oan reporters have been found to have made up stories after receiving accolades?

for the nyt we can go all the way back to the russian revolution through recent times, but thanks once again for trying to be on point

hahahaha

"The National Enquirer hasn't had any of their award-winning articles debunked, but the New York Times with their fancy-shmancy Pulitzers would have you believe ANYTHING."

Was I supposed to type something here?

Have you even read anything about which he is referring? Looked up the career of Duranty? The series of utterly fictional blather that won a Pulitzer?

I'm guessing no. As to the Pulitzer, the NYT was recently awarded yet another for their embarrassingly ridiculous "1619 Project." That the Pulitzer people would award their Prize to a seditious program based wholly on lies tells you much of what you should know about it...

And you know how The New York Times denounced Duranty's reporting? That they asked for the Pulitzer committee to reevaluate Duranty's work and rescind the prize if they saw fit?

And you know that the 1619 Project won the Pulitzer for commentary (AKA opinion) And that the Pulitzer committee awarded the prize partly because of its provocativeness?

Regardless, the idea that a group is somehow more trustworthy because it hasn't had the ability to be criticized after receiving an award (simply because its work would hardly count as journalism) is laughable.

"Have any of the North Korean Central Television Pulitzer Prize winners turned out to be frauds? I didn't think so!"

Laughable.

Duranty used the pages of the NYT to cover up the engineered and systematic killing of 10,000,000+ Ukrainians, just so he could stay stoned in Moscow and on Uncle Joe's Party List. That's just hilarious!

The "1619 Project" is a full-on blood libel, with lies as it's basis, to enrage, inflame, and poison the minds of children. Here's a link you might enjoy: https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2020/09/22/1619-s22.html

The issue is one of veracity, and the NYT ain't got it. The Pulitzer outfit is full of imbeciles, and their awards history is stark evidence of it. "Journalism" used to be, or at least aspired to be about the truth. Perhaps that is the romantic ideal, but truth was generally hoped to be involved in some way. The NYT and modern Media have wholeheartedly abandoned truth and climbed on the Socialist Fantasy Wagon, spouting bigger and bigger lies as they go. Plenty of knee-slappers to go round...

As to the feeble North Korean joke, the NYT and the rest of Cancel Culture are swiftly moving in a like direction. Enjoy the ride!

Thanks for the article. I'm not sure if you ever read the essay that she won the Pulitzer for, but what I had taken from it was that it was not her intent to rewrite history, but rather to bring attention to the parts that had been left out of the textbooks.

If this is an issue you feel strongly about, you should read into the effects of the Daughters of the Confederacy and The Lost Cause mythology on much of the South's schooling. It's bewildering to see why so many people vehemently defend the Confederacy until you realize that they were fed lies throughout their formative years.

Anyway, my entire point was that examples of awards being given to unscrupulous individuals does not give credence to another organization that has never received an award.

Do you have any issues with the journalistic integrity of OAN?

why do people make up random spreads for games to draw a parallel between what they think will happen and what “the line” from Vegas is?

both teams were mediocre last year and most teams have looked rusty in their first game back.

should we be favored by a TD on talent alone? Yes. We haven’t been able to get our offense going for a variety of reasons..until that changes (or the first few games are played and this board melts down) then there’s not much to say.

bumping because the meltdown only took 1 game. @jake102 also predicted something similar
