thought diarse's comments about kids not being taught the game and instead put into a scheme that maximizes physical ability echoes things i hear from friends who have or still coach in high school.

i also found the conversation about the missed opportunity to demonstrate how the kids handled the patterson / jordan fiasco because the media pushed a completely different story was really interesting and something i hadn't given much thought (like most of the things i post)
