Jamize Olawale is 3rd Dallas Cowboy to opt out, opens door for TCU’s Sewo Olonilua

Another Dallas Cowboys player has opted out of the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The team announced Sunday that fullback Jamize Olawale has taken the voluntary opt-out. He will be paid $150,000 and be back on the Cowboys’ roster in 2021.

Olawale has been the starting fullback the last two years but he has played in just 11 percent of the offensive snaps each season. There is a question of how much he would have been used in new coach Mike McCarthy’s offense.
