Nice article about TCU D and Coach P. Interesting tidbit about the stripes (at least for practice) on the helmets that I didn't know before.

"It’s critical that their eyes are in the right places. That’s why the equipment staff puts a stripe on their helmets so from behind Patterson can detect if heads are turned to where they’re supposed to be turned."

Infrared is invisible to all (or virtually all) humans. They wouldn't glow in the visible light spectrum, but the analyst with infrared goggles could see them.

common usage is with quarterbacks so you can watch their progression going through reads
