247 Sports: TCU newcomers assigned jersey numbers
TCU signed one of their top classes ever with their 2020 recruiting class. On paper, the Frogs had a top 25 class which included a five-star and eight four-stars.
The class ranks the highest-ever for a Gary Patterson class. Although the 2016 class numerically ranked higher, the 2020 class did not include Jaquaze Sorrells as part of the official 247Sports rankings. Sorrells was originally a 2019 recruit but did not play anywhere during the 2019 season. If he was included, the Frogs would’ve been in the top 20.
