Sorry to hear about this Pure. Frenchies are the best! I hope Honey has a peaceful and pain free end of life.
Our good friend put his dog down yesterday. Really good chocolate lab, about 16 years old (!).
Don't push too hard. It's hot out there for those pups and they can't sweat and cool themselves like we can. Take some water for them at the very least.Update -- puppy doing great; he is a ring tailed tooter. The advice of taking him out and wearing him out when he's rambunctious was great advice, as was the crate at night.
Goes for first vet check Tuesday, see what they say; probably be good.
On the leash training, does great but more than about half mile he lays around on the floor afterwards like he just got killed or something. Needs to develop stamina.

Could be if u r hiking a nicely manicured and flat trail. May not be if u r hiking a “technical” trail or one with lots of elevation change, or doing rock climbing or spelunking etc. Generally Steel doesn’t hike trails at all except the occasional Grand Canyon or such. Off trail is the way to go to avoid people’s
