Okay, story time...

Back in 2000 the TCU Jazz Band was invited to play at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. The band decided that to make the best of the trip we would do a bus tour starting in Budapest before ending the trip at the festival a week later. We played at a lot of venues, but one of the best nights was a concert we gave at a German beer hall (there is another story there that I might tell sometime). After the concert we were treated to an amazing dinner by the owners of the hall (amazing beer cheese soup) and during the dinner our bassist needed some ketchup but had no idea how to ask for it in German. So, he polled our table as to the best way to ask our waiter, and not missing an opportunity for a little fun we all convinced him the Germans pronounce it catsup (cat-soup). The look on the waiter's face when he asked for a bottle was hilarious, but we all lost it when the waiter bent over and asked, "do you mean ketchup?"

Looks like y'all's tours were better than the TCU Concert Chorale's. We had a tour that went West Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and hit carried over into the first part of Spring Break.

It's like what I heard on PGA Tour radio today. Some odd debate about using the term "golfing." Dude calls in and compares it to the sure sign of a snob being someone who uses "summer" as a verb.

Flipped over to a women's golf tournament yesterday afternoon. Watched a couple shots and thought, "watching these sports without fans is just weird".

Then I realized it was a replay from a couple years ago. LOL.

I watch women's golf. Even look at some of the shots.
