+ loss of scholarships

From espn:
The NCAA also hit Evans with a 10-year show-cause penalty. During that period, any NCAA member school employing him must restrict him from any athletically related duties unless it shows cause why the restrictions should not apply.

The NCAA also reduced Oklahoma State's men's basketball scholarships by three during the 2020-21 through 2022-23 academic years and imposed other recruiting restrictions. The Cowboys had previously self-imposed a $10,000 fine plus 1% of its men's basketball operating budget and reduced the number of official visits for three years.

They self-enforced the penalty earlier this year, and sat out March Madness in anticipation of the NCAA ruling.

NCAA yet to issue a final ruling on Kansas however. Based upon OKSt they will get hit even harder but well its the NCAA....and apparently in May their case was referred to the Independent Accountability Resolution Process for adjudication.

Wonder if this reduction in National exposure may cause the #1 rated recruit they signed,(after hiring his brother as an assistant coach) Cade Cunningham, to look again at playing in the G-League in the upcoming season

Is TCU at any risk. Didn't we have one of the coach-recruiters that was wiretapped or something?

EDIT: NM...of course TCU is at risk regardless. That's the way things work.

The coach at TCU that was mentioned in the tapes was repping a relative that did not play for TCU. Think about it, how many agents and/or shoe companies do you think we’re throwing dollars at any one associated with the TCU teams of those years?
