Staff evaluating more safeties as they seem to be falling behind at that positions recruiting. Jumped ahead early with commit from Devin Lemear but he changed his mind and Mukuba looks to be going elsewhere. Recently offered BU commit but also looking at fast rising McKinney safety Adrian Shephard.

Adrian Shephard 5-11/185 McKInney moved from RB to S in 2019 and recorded 94 tackles and 3 Ints for the season. Has 4.46 speed and recently offered by Wash St. Impressive first season on defense and good video on him.

What are they waiting for? Offer the kid.
4.46 speed, reads, reacts and tackles like a linebacker.
Looks like a bonafide football player.

Not sure where to put this but in the transfer portal today is Bama WR Tyrell Shavers who’s from Lewisville..Graduate Transfer with 2 to play..Big outside WR who was going to be in their rotation this year. TCU Coach Wright now following him on the Twitter box.

Kid is originally from Dallas but moved to California where he was an all state (CIF) DB. Originally committed to Arizona State but changed to TCU. Had visited FW in September and was recruited by Gonzales. TCU has several good freshman walk-on prospects in Fincher and QB Pardee. Also a big OL prospect in Jack Niland is also walking on.

There is going to be an automatic re-seeding of recruiting rankings in August/September. Rivals for one did not get done with evaluations, so you will see threes become fours and some twos become threes.
