Will TCU have a first-round pick in next month’s NFL draft? Let’s look at some mocks.

It’s NFL mock draft season.

A new wave of mock drafts are circulating after last week’s scouting combine. TCU has first-round candidates in cornerback Jeff Gladney, defensive tackle Ross Blacklock and wide receiver Jalen Reagor.

The Horned Frogs had a first-round selection last year when the Seattle Seahawks took defensive end L.J. Collier with the 29th overall pick. If TCU lands another player in the first-round, it’ll be the first time the program has produced first-round selections in consecutive drafts since 1960-61 (Jack Spikes and Bob Lilly).

TCU sent seven players to the combine, the most among Big 12 schools, and most of the players made favorable impressions.

Mock drafts. The crystal balls of the NFL.
I think they're more like the offseason equivalent of the preseason "5 Burning Questions" articles.

Most crystal balls have a relatively high level of insider information behind them. Very few of these mock drafts have that level of intel on more than the top 10 or so players. Beyond that these guys are going full Kiper on the internet.
