It ain't lack of newness that killed the offense. It was execution. Actually the wild frog worked OK this year. One of the big blowups of the wild frog was when Bolisomi whiffed badly on his block...the hole was there, except for that one block. Sewo had to go wide and was tackled for a big loss.

Execution, which was just not there.
