His attitude did seem to change since his arrival at OU. A bit more arrogant it seemed and like you mentioned, less intense at the same time.

Probably true but one of the losses for Oregon was an out of conference match up with Auburn. While Baylor’s out of conference schedule featured Rice, UT San Antonio and SFA. So if you judge the 2 just on their losses it could be viewed as a wash.

I know the eye test tells us differently, but
based on history, a 1-loss P5 champ should get in instead of a 1-loss non-conference champ.
