He's never been this high on this list. Ever. Maybe the closest he's ever been this high was after his homecoming lost to Northwestern State, LA his first season.

He's built a great football empire in Fort Worth. Big, wise, bold decisions need to be made this month and we have to nail recruiting. Gary can win a national championship at TCU with that defense.

. . . and Dana Holgorsen sits on Hot Seat #9. My how the tables turn in college football! Last year, Fan Forum Board Members were frustrated by GP’s whining. After two ‘disappointing’ years one can now say ‘Embattled Head Coach GP.’

I disagree with the list (Clay Helton is WAY too low), but I think GP should be on the list. In no way do I think he should be fired, but the fact is that TCU has been 6-6 or worse in three of the last four seasons. If he keeps Cumbie and has another 5-7 or 6-6 year with the same predictably incompetent offense next year, I think I'm just going to lose interest in the whole damn thing.

Will likely be a lot higher by the end of the day since some above him are being pushed out.

In a related matter, Matt Luke is now available as an OL coach.

Lost me at Holgorsen as #9, after one year. Held back a lot to get this year established. Unless it is a disaster, I would not put a new coach that high until after year 3...although Frost and Kelly are looking iffy.

Arkansas did it after 22 games. They are officially stupid.

Empire? National championship? I'm not sure that's correct.
