GoFrogs: TCU Goes East, Downs Army 66-52 at West Point
WEST POINT, N.Y. – Head coach Raegan Pebley collected her 100th win while roaming the sidelines at TCU, as the Horned Frogs traveled to the East Coast to earn a road win against the Army Black Knights, 66-52, Tuesday night at Christl Arena.

Jayde Woods led a quartet of players that scored in double-figures with 14 points, while Jaycee Bradley, Lauren Heard and Kianna Ray totaled 10 points each. The Horned Frogs moved to 5-0 on the season – the program's best start to a season since opening 5-0 back in 2008-09.

THE RUNDOWN
Army led by as many as four points early in the game, but TCU turned it on midway through the opening period to take a 17-15 lead into the second quarter. A 19-3 run later, TCU led by as many as 12 points, up 27-15 with less than four minutes to play in the half.

TCU took a 32-25 lead into the break, but Army scored five of the first points to get back within three of TCU early in the third quarter. TCU countered with a 6-0 run to get it back to a nine-point lead, 39-30, and then after trading buckets over the final few minutes of the period, the Horned Frogs took a 49-42 lead into the fourth quarter.

TCU's seven-point lead dwindled to just a three-point lead after Army scored the first five points of the fourth quarter, but the Horned Frogs battled on both ends of the court en route to a 14-3 run and a 15-point lead. TCU yielded just three points to the Black Knights over the last 5:49 to earn the 14-point victory.

STAT OF THE GAME
14 – Number of points the Horned Frogs scored on second changes. TCU won the rebounding battle 40-38, which included pulling down 14 offensive boards. Those boards led to 14 second-chance points, which ended up being the difference in the game.

UP NEXT
TCU is back at home following the Thanksgiving holiday, hosting Boise State this Sunday, Dec. 1, in the first game of a doubleheader of the Maggie Dixon Classic. The Horned Frogs and Broncos will tip-off at 5 p.m., while Texas A&M and Florida State follows at 7:30 p.m.

• TCU head coach Raegan Pebley collected her 100th win as the helm of the women's basketball program. She is now 100-71 at TCU and 256-246 in her career overall.
• TCU moved to 5-0 on the season, the Horned Frogs' best start to a season since going 5-0 in 2008-09.
• TCU improved to 2-0 all-time against Army. The Horned Frogs are 1-0 against the Black Knights in Fort Worth and 1-0 now in West Point, N.Y.

• TCU won the battle of the boards for a third-straight game. The Horned Frogs pulled down 40 rebounds on the evening, while giving up 38 boards to Army.
• TCU tallied 15 assists on 24 field goals made. The 15 assists rank second-most in a game for the Horned Frogs this season.
• The Horned Frogs forced 23 turnovers on the evening. TCU has forced 20+ turnovers in all five games on the year.
• TCU tallied seven blocked shots for the third time in five games this year.

PLAYER NOTES
Jayde Woods led the Horned Frogs in scoring for the second time this season, finishing the game with 14 points on 5-of-10 shooting from the field. She also led the team with seven rebounds and four assists.
Kianna Ray scored all 10 of her points in the second half, giving her 10+ points in all five games this season.
Jaycee Bradley totaled 10 points in the game. She knocked down two three-pointers and was a perfect 2-of-2 from the free throw line.
Lauren Heard scored 10+ points for the fourth time this season. She also tied for the team-high with two steals.
Adeola Akomolafe and Ray had two blocks each.
