I simultaneously don't want to see him go but don't want to see this offense any more beyond this year. I think SC is an asset to the program. Exactly how beyond being a good recruiter I'm not sure, but you probably spelled out the reasons, although you kind of lost me at creative route concepts (and I'm not completely sold on his QB development skills). Anyway, the idea that you have to or need to be a coordinator first before becoming a head coach is a myth, and it might even be a detriment at times. FWIW, Urban Meyer is another guy who was never an OC or DC (cue up the I'm an OSU fan jokes).

No. I actually expect our athletes to do their job also. Which mostly results in wins.

If Max has to perform miracles the way he did Saturday every week just to get a 2 pt win -

then we are in trouble and Cumbie should be replaced in that fact alone

especially since every D we will face in the conference is better than Tech at this point
