Well, against SMU we didn’t have a kid on the roster who could kick a FG over 42 yards on a 90 degree day. The next week we tried one from 52 yards on a cold damp day on a soggy field. Nothing would shock me. Since when did this program get so scheissing weird?

I would not say I “want” some new flavor but I’ve reached the point where I’d be OK with it.

not farfetched this team could be 7-1 right now, but i don't agree they should be 7-1 right now. they are a 4-4 team because of some holes in some very key areas and the team and in some aspects the program can't get out of its own way.

I figure this from day 1. I saw all I needed when he was a K-State to know he wasn't very good. This also 2 weeks after we put him in the K State game right after the offense finally got some momentum.

OTOH, I'm all for seeing what Downing can do if Duggan and Collins are hurt.

Ok, is this true or are we getting ahead of ourselves? Because my brain might not be the best, but it's only checked off "hinted at" as opposed to confirmed, at least in this thread. May also be that I missed a post, or that this is the bad news possibly hinted at on 247...
