we've generally had dangerous punt returners for a decade or more. That's mostly because we do sell out to get guys back to block for the returner.

The downside is vulnerability to this stuff, especially in that 10-40 area on thier side of the field where a good return chance is most likely.

Remember Wisconsin and Boise State's fake punts against us. Our special teams need to at least acknowledge the possibility.

Most teams are susceptible to trickery on special teams. Every punt or field goal has potential trickery. The return was called. I truly think the punter made the decision on his own after seeing the massive acreage in front of him. It happens. Move on.
