TCU DE's 'getting closer' to picking up QB sacks

TCU has another tough challenge this week facing Iowa State quarterback Brock Purdy. The sophomore has thrown for 8 touchdowns and just 2 interceptions on the year. He’s also known to have the ability to escape the pocket and sustain drives with his feet.
Purdy had 510 yards of offense in the Cyclones’ 72-20 win over Louisiana-Monroe two weeks ago. The Frogs will need to get pressure on the elusive quarterback but with four games under their belt the Frogs have had some struggles getting to the quarterback.
The Frogs currently rank 7th in the Big 12 in total sacks with eight; Iowa State has allowed just six which ranks 4th in the conference.
