Levi Steinblatt-Abramovitz was talking about the TCU-SMU game and says that its evident that the game has passed Patterson and TCU by and that SMU is doing everything right under Sonny Dykes and is about to go on a run dominating the DFW area and the American conference similar if not better to how TCU dominated the Mountain West before going to the Big 12 and it wont take long for a power conference, probably the Big 12, to scoop up SMU. He said if the Big 12 sits on their hands and doesn't take SMU, a league like the Pac-12 or ACC will because they are going to be a very very hot name in the next decade because of the run of dominance they are about to go on. He said SMU is about to go on a winning streak of their own over TCU.

He said TCU is old news, a program that has gone stale. The game has passed Patterson by, and he is being exposed as a mediocre coach. They won't be able to out recruit Texas or Oklahoma in the Big 12, and with Baylor/Texas Tech having younger, more exciting coaches who emphasize high powered offense, that TCU will regress to how they were in the Southwest Conference as the worst Texas team in the Big 12. This will kill the TCU brand, TCU recruiting, and they will contend with the Kansas schools for the Big 12 cellar. Because of this, kids who would have gone to TCU will instead go to SMU, the hot brand program competing for championships in the DFW area. He compared it to how Houston was outrecruiting many Texas schools under Herman, but he said unlike Herman, Sonny Dykes will stay put and build SMU into a power in the American Conference.

He closed with a bold prediction - SMU will be in a power conference, and TCU will not, after the next wave of realignment, whenever that may be.

I’m taking my 8-year old grandson to the KU game.

Angelo’s or Cousin’s? Or someplace else?

Haven’t had BBQ in Fort Worth for quite a few years.

Go Frogs!
