Interesting offensive note

This is the first time we’ve scored 34+ points in regulation in each of our first 3 games since 2012.

things aren’t perfect but the offense is putting up points.

we were hurt by turnovers and the deep ball defensively today. No excuse to keep getting beat on the deep ball as much as they were today. I know of at least 3.

The way out defense is designed the deep ball is going to happen. The idea of our defense is that you are OK with giving up the deep ball every now and then as long as you can prevent the easy stuff. You take away the dinks, dunks and runs at the expense of giving up an occassional deep ball

The problem with the way our defense is designed is when they start to nickel and dime you. We allowed a bit too much of that today. The LB other than Wallow and our defensive ends did not play well enough.
