Love Klatt’s idea here of having 2 categories of targetting (like facemask penalty) allowing for guys to not be ejected if there really isn’t intent.

Good idea. Might be pretty subjective though. This last one is classic targeting imo.

Maybe so, but Purdy sure knows how to sling that ball. His accuracy is terrifying. And those 3 receivers he's thrown to are lights out, period.

Against UL-Monroe who statistically has had the worst defense in FBS over the past couple of years

Their offense looked [ Finebaum ] against Iowa and Northern Iowa

Their offense looked [ steaming pile of Orgeron ] against Iowa and Northern Iowa

It doesn't matter WHO is guarding him when he throws that ball nine feet off the ground, opposite shoulder, pefectly near the sideline, where no one else in the stadium could have caught it. Hitting receivers in stride on crossing routes, pulling and running when needed. He's the real deal.
