Over on PonyFans, the predictions are running about 50:50 for a narrow TCU win or a narrow SMU win. Few run-away scores predicted. And several of them believe that they have played a tougher schedule than we have at this point, and they are a better quality opponent than Purdue.

Considering that the continuation of the TCU-SMU series is up in the air after this game, one poster observed that he "hopes tcu has the courage to continue the series."
