i realize for some it is sin to say anything about or against bill snyder, but the truth is he was hurting that program the past few years, the coaching change was overdue, and the new staff inherited some talent and nice facilities
I think everyone knew that, except Bill Snyder.

Makes zero sense. That’s the type of game that can be disruptive to a conference, yet it hasn’t had the opportunity to happen.

There should be some mandated rules in the larger conferences that every team has to play every team at least every couple years.
That is not possible

That is why divisions in conferences are stupid

When you only have 8 conference games and 7 of those are against your division- then it means you only play the teams in the other division once every 8 years

If they would get rid of divisions so you didn’t have to play 7 specific teams every year then they could mandate that you have to play every team every other year or once every 3 if you want to have some matchups that still happen every year also

Divisions are only for having a championship game matchup for big money

the big 12 is morping into a more physcial style of offensive football.

you still have teams that use tempo, spread formation is still the predominant offensive formation, but you are seeing a change to more physical run games.

ou has a power based run game, texas wants to develop that if they can keep a back healthy, baylor, kansas, kansas state.

one thing i really, really hope to see this year from the frogs offense is a planned out power run game taking advantage of the offensive line and backs and not just zone read and air raid concepts.

the book is out on the pure air raid, wazzu has yet to beat uw with the pirate and dana last night did the very same thing peterson at uw has done. cougs just didn't have the same level athletes in the defensive front or secondary.

Would love to see Sewo with a lead blocker on a counter...Would demolish teams...Our schemes up front are extremely out dated and are really built to protect the QB on quick hitters. We have no concept of power football

I understand the divisions. And yes you’re correct they are pointless in college football. Mix them up every couple years is the point.

That late TD by MissState notwithstanding, B12 looking like it has the potential to have a scrong to quite scrong weekend vs. P5. Idiotic foul by the KSU defender to set up that late score, btw. Game's not been as close as the score would indicate. I'd feel pretty good as KSU's coach right now, guys have really given away 2 TD's to MissSt and still lead by 3. Clean up the stupid at halftime and win by 20.

Miss St constantly chirping SEC.

Keep St not having it.

This will be fun to watch as the game continues.

Also M Sthe not getting away with near the typical SEC crappie with this officiating crew.

In other competitive games...

Maryland's high scoring offence is beingshutout by Temple.

Illinois losing to Eastern Michigan at the half. Wasn't that long ago EMU was 70's TCU bad,

K state running a pretty diverse offensive scheme in the previous game.
