Not that recruiting rankings always tell the story, it’s fun to see how opposing teams I don’t know much about, end up in recruiting rankings.

Per 247:

Purdue:
2016: 80th, ave rating .8113, BIG10 rank 14th
2017: 72nd, ave rating .8188, BIG10 rank 14th
2018: 52nd, ave rating .8469 BIG10 rank 11th
2019: 25th, ave rating .8663, BIG10 rank 5th

TCU:
2016: 21st, ave rating .8825, BIG12 rank 3rd
2017: 28th, ave rating .8518, BIG12 rank 3rd
2018: 25th, ave rating .8713, BIG12 rank 3rd
2019: 33rd, ave rating .8627, BIG12 rank 3rd

I rewatched the Bowl game K-State played against UCLA where our new quarterback came off the bench and torched UCLA's defense with his legs and decision making and was the Bowl MVP.

Go Get'em Alex.

It is only week 3 and I feel we are already getting disrespected by Vegas playing a Purdue team that lost by around 60 points in a bowl game vs Auburn 8 months ago.

I hope Gary starts to show America what we got from this TCU team starting this Saturday while concurrently putting Iowa State and Texas on notice of what's coming for them soon.

This is not true.

The only book with a line out on this game(and hence the only line showing up on tout site VegasInsider) is Circa Sports, which is only located at the D in Downtown Las Vegas. Circa Sports is a brand new sportsbook operation still in an experimental/beta phase. These "early" lines for college football are for publicity only, they are not real lines.

Until Wynn or Pinnacle come out with their lines, I would not take Circa's lines seriously. Because I have looked over some of these "openers" and laughed. I guarantee you when CRIS or Wynn or Pinnacle come out with their lines, then Circa will automatically adjust these to match them.

EDIT: CRIS and 5dimes is out with their line, we are 2 point dogs. This is hilarious. I expect us to be favorites by game time. We're ahead of Purdue in pretty much every ranking system out there and 16 spots ahead of them in the Massey Composite. But, as I predicted, Circa dropped the line to -2 as soon as CRIS/5Dimes came out

To be -2 dogs to a team that to this point can’t stop the pass and can’t run the ball is pure disrespect. Look up the stats, Purdue is bad in both aspects.
