I keep reading where he got 24 TDs and so many yards rushing and passing. But once I saw #int's, and was impressed. I still think that TD vs INT is a good way of evaluating a QB. Anybody have those TD vs INT numbers?

This kid is going to be a star. And it might happen as soon as this season.

Just FYI, for those wondering about his stats in 2017: he broke his thumb during week 2 of his junior year and missed a huge chunk of the season.

5.9:1. Nice. His Senior year was 8.0:1
Boykin 2012 1.5:0; 2013 1:1; 2014 was 3.3:1; 2015 3.1:1; 2012
Hill 2016 1.3:1; 2017 2.9:1
Robinson 2018 1.1:1
Dalton 2010 4.2:1 (2007 was 1.1:1)

Then there was Mayfield in 2017 7.2:1, so there is a good target. I would love to see us go over 5:1 if that happened no telling how good we would do (assuming we could carry the ball without fumbling). Interesting to note that Dalton and Robinson had similar interception problems. I don't think Andy had nearly as many fumbles, though.

Andy did have an interception problem early but he was a RS frosh. He would get yanked for M. jackson when he underperformed.

Slightly worse than Tyler Matthews’ 54/8.

Let’s wait til he takes a college snap, huh?
There was an article about 7 or so years ago saying that TD/INT ratio was a good predictor of success at the next level. That stat tended to follow a player as he moved up. And bad ratios, meaning bad decision making and/or poor accuracy also stayed with a QB.
