Died this evening from respiratory failure due to lung cancer apparently.

Liked his dad’s movies better but figured some of y’all who like Easy Rider might want to know.

My mom agreed. She was shocked at his age as he didn’t look it. I only remember his Easy Rider and Race with the Devil (scared me as a kid) movies.

There are some *really* wild stories about him and Jack coming to Dallas to promote Easy Rider, and doing an event at SMU. Can't remember where to find them, but everything is on the googles.

Years ago when I was on the motorcycle unit, I escorted him and Robbie Knievel on a charity ride. We rode hard to keep the group together and flowing. Got compliments from them after.
