I'm not disappointed that we lost as much as I am that it seems like we just gave up in the last couple of innings tonight. Maybe we just ran out of gas after a long day.

Felt the same way. Hate getting blanked..but also..we just looked exhausted out there during that whole game

I want to go ahead and eat crow on one subject... our pitching really showed up in this post season, esp compared to reg season, and they deserve some credit for that.

I’m just sad that Baylor got to experience a College Workd Series win this year and we didn’t...and the final four in Men’s Basketball... and they were the only team to win the Texas Bowl.
Such a great year for them.

I would add the defense to the pitching. I felt like we got enough clues lately that the pitching was turning the corner enough so I wasn't terribly surprised by what we saw this weekend. I am shocked by the defensive effort. Aside from Oviedo's drop in the first game against Arky that allowed 3 runs and likely cost us the game the defense was really pretty good. That was the surprise of the regional for me.
