TCU has no one to blame but themselves for not being in the tournament.

This is my feeling as well. So many chances to grab another win or two and just couldn’t close.

Let’s go make some noise in the NIT

We don't have too much of a complaint, but I can't believe they took 3 Pac-12 teams. That was the worst power conference from top-to-bottom that I can ever remember. Should've been a 1-bid league.

2nd time in 3 years we don't get in due to abob missing FT's against WV. Maybe he should've listened to coach rather than smirking. Neet a PG who can shoot a bit.

We crapped the bed to many times in the back half of the conference schedule. This sucks

I’m not too surprised actually. Not sure we earned it this year.

Oh, we absolutely didn't. But there are several teams in the tournament who really didn't earn it. Just have to get 68 in there no matter what.

I think we have only ourselves to blame for horrific losses to Oklahoma, WVU, and OSU plus the blown lead at home against Kansas. Win just one of any of those games and that's probably enough.

At the same time, you can make plenty of arguments for us being better than some of the teams who did get at large bids. Still, though, if you don't do enough to get yourself solidly into a 68 team field then that's on you.

Yes we did. We played some lackluster BB at times down the stretch. We had a better record than OU overall and tied with them in conf. but they make it in.

We deserved not being picked. There were times when we played like the 3 Stooges and had some of the dumbest turnovers ever seen. We are just not that good. Good teams don't blow double digit leads in their conference tournaments.

We went 7-11 in conference and underachieved since the Hawaii trip. The basketball team has no one to blame but themselves.

This middle paragraph is exactly my thoughts as well. Win any of those games you mention (especially the KU game) and I think our spot was fairly secure. However, they didn’t and it wasn’t.

If we had beaten Lipscomb and still gone 7-11 in conference play we would still not been in the tournament.
