We finished the season 6-6 which is much worse than almost everyone predicted. Earlier in the year we hosted College Gameday (I rarely watch it). Reading the TCU magazine got me thinking. When was the last time (besides us) Gameday was hosted by a team that failed to break .500 mark (academy schools exempted).

I would think that it is not completely uncommon, particularly for campuses the program visits in the first month of the season
